Important Dates to Remember

• 2008 Examination Dates

Application deadline for written examinations (including Recertification and Surgical Critical Care CAQ written examinations) - March 15th, 2008

The written examinations are normally given in Chicago, the 1st Saturday in April. (Candidates that successfully complete the written examination in may make application for the oral examination by July 15th of that same year.)

Deadline for oral examinations - July 15th, 2008

The oral examinations are given just prior to the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Specialists.

Deadlines for clinical examinations - March 15th, 2008 and August 15th, 2008

The clinical examinations are normally given in Chicago, the 1st Saturday in April, however the spring clinical examination is being given on Saturday, March 31st. The fall clinical examination is given prior to the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Specialists
